2022 Spring and summer classes
​Spring session: May 3- June 7, 2022​                 Summer session: July 5-August 9, 2022

If you've never painted with oils before, here's your chance to experiment!
If you want a "re-fresh" here's the perfect opportunity to get those brushes moving again!
In these 6 sessions, we'll focus primarily on the "alla prima" style (wet paint into wet paint). This method will get you working with oils quickly whether you have no experience or some. You don't have to get supplies, the material fee covers what you'll need for these sessions! 

Here's what we'll be covering:
  • The essential tools and terminology
  • The "Basic Palette" and color mixing
  • Planning a painting 
  • Fixing problems
  • How to start, when to stop 
Class size is 5 or less and will be held at Teller Street Studios in Wheat Ridge, CO. (Please note, this space is on the 2nd floor, no elevator.) Restrooms are on site. Snacks and water will be available. Once registered, there is no refund. Material fee is optional. If you have your own supplies, let me know and we'll make sure you have what we will need.

Do you have a group who would like to learn to paint? 
I travel to teach oil painting workshops for beginning or intermediate students, either indoors or in plein air. No experience necessary! These workshops can be 1 to 3 days in length and are conducted at your location. Students in workshops need to provide their own materials and a set up for indoor or outdoor painting.
